Introduction to Life Church
If you are interested in becoming a member of Life Church your next opportunity for “Introduction to Life Church” is Sunday, April 11 at 4:00 pm. A complimentary catered dinner will be served. Register with Nona in the church office by Wednesday, April 7 at 12 noon.
Egg Stuffing Potluck
In preparation for Eggstravaganza, we’re having a potluck. Following the potluck we’ll stuff Easter eggs with candy to be used during the event. Saturday, March 27, from 12:00 - 4:00 pm, in the cafeteria. Bring candy for the eggs, a main dish, salad or dessert to share. Contact: Michael or Nyla Bellish.
Eggstravaganza Donations
Our annual egg hunt will be on April 3, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Donations of candy and prizes to fill the eggs are due by Friday, March 26. More more info please contact Brad Shimomura.
Annual Partners Meeting
Formally known as the annual church business meeting, this gathering reviews the events, finances and vision of Life Church. You are invited to this informational meeting on Wednesday, March 24, 7:00 pm in the Café.
The Awakening All-Nighter
March 26 - 27 at Safari Sam's. Cost is $37 per person (includes pizza, breakfast, unlimited soda, and all activities and video games) Money is due Sunday, March 21 and Wednesday, March 24 or $40 at the door. Meet at Life Church at 8:00 pm and return Saturday morning at 8:00 am. Contact: April Chummar.
Royal Rangers’ Amazing Race
This event is packed full of fun and surprise. Saturday, April 10, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Must sign up by April 7. Volunteers needed in multiple areas. Contact: Dave Malakowski.
Lunch at the Peppermill
Join the Greatest Generation at the Peppermill Restaurant (17455 SW Farmington Rd, Aloha) after church on Sunday, April 11. Share with old friends and make new ones. Sign-up begins March 21 on the church bulletin board. Contact: Michael or Nyla Bellish.
Empower Africa
Students from the Ushindi Children's Home in Kenya served a local widow by repairing her mud hut. They feel they are greatly blessed and they desire to give the blessing to others.
Softball
It’s that time of year again and softball season will be upon us soon. Men’s and Co-ed softball sign-ups are on the bulletin board by the restrooms, practice begins in second week of April (weather permitting). Contact: Joe Bracamonte.
Make-A-Meal Ministry
There are many needs in our church and together we can bless families at a time when they really need it whether that is new moms, single parents, people recovering from surgery or loss, etc. Please bless others in need by signing up to help. Our hope is to have a large pool of volunteers so that when a need arises we can meet it. Contact: Bekah Tinter.
Life Storehouse
Please help us fill the storehouse. There will be a table the second Sunday of each month to collect donated items for the Storehouse. Currently we are in need of the following items: cereal, baby food, canned fruit, pasta sauce, kid snacks, crackers, dry soup, peanut butter and jelly, feminine products, and diapers. Hospital Vistiation
The Hospital Ministry team members are available for hospital visits and prayer. If you or a family member is in the hospital or if you would like to serve in this ministry please contact the church office or after office hours Don Jones or Mollie Jones.
2010 Life Church Campout
July 22 - July 26. Cost is $120. Please contact Julie Crays, to reserve your site.
